Local Chapter President - Christy Ball
2025-2027
I am Christy Ball, and it is my pleasure to welcome you to the official online home of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Xi Kappa Zeta Chapter. I am honored to serve as Chapter President for the 2025–2027 sorority years.
We are thrilled that you have chosen to learn more about our esteemed sisterhood. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is a distinguished organization founded on January 16, 1920, on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. Built on the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood, Zeta Phi Beta has continued to uphold a legacy of excellence and empowerment for over a century. Five visionary women, known as our Five Pearls: Arizona Cleaver Stemons, Pearl Anna Neal, Myrtle Tyler Faithful, Viola Tyler Goings, and Fannie Pettie Watts laid the foundation for Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Their enduring legacy continues to inspire more than 100,000 women worldwide, representing multicultural backgrounds and professions.
Last year, we proudly celebrated 36 years of dedicated service and sisterhood in the Colorado Springs metro area. Chartered on November 17, 1988, the Xi Kappa Zeta Chapter is the second oldest graduate chapter in Colorado and a part of the Magnificent Midwestern Region. Our strong legacy and unwavering commitment to Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood continue to guide our impactful work. From award-winning Z-HOPE initiatives to culturally enriching and educational programs, our chapter consistently strives to address the social, economic, and educational needs of the diverse communities we serve.
If you are a Soror seeking a chapter home, we warmly invite you to come back home and join us in a spirit of scholarship, service, sisterly love, and embracing the Extraordinary Power of S.H.E.—Social Justice, Health Justice, and Economic Justice.
Please feel free to explore our site to learn more about our work, our impact, and the remarkable women who make up the Xi Kappa Zeta Chapter.
